Campbell Ironworks Curtain Rods are made to your length. Many lines are made with welded finials and others have internal threaded parts, all are made with exceptionally heavy walled tube. This creates exceptionally high quality hardware that goes together easily and is visually seamless. Unfortunately this also makes our curtain rods non-adjustable and not able to be cut shorter on site. If a mistake has been made in the length of your curtain rod it will need to be sent back to us for adjustment. Shipping charges are your responsibility regardless of whose mistake it was. We will resize the rod at no cost to you if it is our mistake, we will charge you if it is your mistake at the most reasonable cost we can. In most instances the entire rod will need to be refinished.
In light of this it is extremely important to measure correctly. We highly advise you to download order forms for the line of hardware you are ordering and fill them out for each curtain rod. Our preferred dimension is; Bracket center to bracket center, often abbreviated as [B.C. to B.C.], as this is the only consistent dimension regardless of finial length. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and will do our best to walk you through the process if you have a complicated application.
